IDMODELING SELECTED BY THE CITY OF BELLINGHAM, WA FOR DEVELOPMENT AND
CALIBRATION
Pasadena, CA USA, December 6th, 2004 – IDModeling,
Inc. is selected by the “City of Bellingham”, WA for development
and calibration of its water distribution system model. Keeping an eye
towards EPAs’s pending Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts
Rule (DBPR) Stage 2 rule promulgation, Bellingham selected IDModeling,
Inc. as the firm to develop its hydraulic model to meet EPA criteria
for a System Specific Study (SSS).
Major project tasks will involve merging of several pressure zones to
unify the model and multi-day calibration for optimal performance of
water age analyses. With the assistance of the model as a tool to identify
points of representative high DBP’s, it is Bellingham’s objective
to perform its SSS with higher confidence and satisfy its Initial Distribution
System Evaluation through initial selection of Stage 2B compliance monitoring
sites.
