System-Specific Training and Group QA-QC
This course is presented with the concept of utilizing an existing hydraulic
model, from a client specified project, to become acquainted with the
software while reviewing the hydraulic model. This course is especially
unique in that it affords the class complementary benefits of software
and project education (learning and working at the same time!).
Using an existing, system-specific hydraulic model, Workshop is provided
on model structure, setup, identification of results, database population,
and more.
Course topics may include:
- Construction of Model Facilities vs. Existing Facilities
- Demand or load allocations
- Zone Separations or Sub-areas
- Operational Assumptions
- Confidence-level Evaluation of Data Input
- Model strengths vs. Areas to Improve for future Updating and Calibration
- Opportunities to leverage existing Organizational Data
- Next steps for Staff Maintenance and Possible CIP development/validation.
